Rich with an extensive history, the Brick Hotel in Newtown Borough,
Pennsylvania was a single story residence circa early 1700s. In 1763
Amos Strickland built a two-story brick private residence. The private
residence was converted to a tavern in 1780. In the 1700s, the Brick
Hotel was a meeting place for the area wealthy patrons.
The Brick Hotel continues to serve as a hub of hospitality much as
it has in it's nearly 250-year history (250th anniversary will be in
2013/2014) as an Inn. We would be honored by your visit.
